Who we are

Groop (groop.travel) connects groups with verified local activity suppliers. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect

• Account data: email address and password (hashed).
• Group requests: group name, size, destination, dates, budget tier and any details you choose to share. Your identity and contact details are never shown to group activity providers until you accept an offer.
• Provider profiles: company details, including a tax/business ID used for verification.
• Usage analytics, only with your consent.

How we use it

• To match requests with relevant group activity providers and deliver offers.
• To send transactional email about your account and requests.
• Marketing email only with explicit opt-in, always unsubscribable.

Your rights

You can export your data or delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deletion anonymizes your profile and removes your requests and offers; records of completed bookings are retained where required for financial record-keeping.
